Outdoor adventure and Cub Scout FUN at the 2010 Wild West Day Camp!! Check out your district Cub Scout Day Camp! A week of outdoor FUN and programs not regularly found in Den or Pack activities; including BB gun safety & shooting, archery, hiking, swimming, and outdoor skills, as well as Crafts, Games, and Advancement.

Camping at Loyd Park

This spring 42 campers enjoyed camping at Lloyd Park in Grand Prarie, April 30th to May 2nd. Some of the activities we enjoyed were football, tug-of-war, and the retirement of several flags. Saturday, we had the privilege of participating with Pack 554 from Crowley, Texas in the retirement of a flag. In the afternoon, the cubs learned how to cut the flag in an orderly way, then in the evening we had joint campfire time and allowed the dens to participate in the formal ceremony.
